Sheikh Nasser Almanqour was one of the founders of political, educational and diplomatic work in modern Saudi Arabia. From his childhood in a small town in the desert to his retirement as the Ambassador to the Court of St. James, he spent his life in the service of his beloved country. He became a government minister before the age of thirty. He was then chosen to represent his country in Japan, Scandinavia, Spain and finally the United Kingdom.This is also the story of a young country’s meteoric rise to join the developed countries of the world. Beginning with establishing elementary schools for everyone in the fifties and building universities a few short decades later. Abroad, Sheikh Nasser was also a pioneer of Arab diplomacy, laying the foundations of diplomatic work in every country where he served. This biography is testimony to Sheikh Nasser’s personality, modesty and unwavering ethics. He was loyal, generous, modest and admired by all who met him. From humble beginnings and throughout his life, his moral compass never vacillated or changed directions.
